Last weekend, Forreston had a town-wide garage sale. We had some stuff to put out and I decided to sell my car. We have 3 cars and I really don’t need the extra expenses (gas, oil, insurance, license plates, etc.).
So I took the car over to the local car wash, sprayed it off, and gave it a little wax to make it look presentable.
I drove it back to the house and as I was getting out, I noticed I had tracked something in on the floor mats — AXLE GREASE! Uggggh. I cleaned off my shoes and the pedals, but was trying to figure out how to get that grease out of the carpet without making a bigger mess. I didn’t want to use anything dangerous like gasoline or lighter fluid. Luckily, I found my bottle of Shaklee Basic-H!

Now, I honestly did not know if Basic-H would work, so I took this picture with my cell phone as an experiment. I dabbed the grease spots with Basic-H at full strength and worked it in real good with a scrub brush. Then slowly added a lttle water while continuing to scrub with the brush.
What is the Number One mistake people make when using Basic-H? They use too much.
Well, it took me quite awhile to rinse all of the Basic-H out of the carpet. Then I set it out to dry in the sun.
After it was dry, I took the after picture shown below:

IT WORKS! I had no problem selling the car. Sometimes I forget how useful Basic-H really is.
I just love that stuff. Feel free to pass this on.
