Home Improvement Leads to Happiness. That should be my town’s slogan - keeping up with the Jones’ is a huge deal around here. I didn’t really notice it as a child, but now that I have a house of my own, it’s pretty obvious.
People are constantly remodeling and improving their homes. Now that I think about it, every house in my neighborhood has been redone in one way or another. A backyard pond here, and wrap around porch there; second stories, converted garages; remodeled kitchens, added-on play rooms; this place has done every home improvement I can think of.
I was watching my neighbor paint his house one day, when I found myself wondering why he wasn’t having someone else do it. I also found myself wondering why I didn’t have anything better to do than watch my neighbor paint, and then I thought of all the home improvements I wanted to do to my house. But for the moment, watching my neighbor paint his house was where it seemed I needed to be.
As I thought of all the big home improvement leads places around town, I figured they were probably too expensive or too busy for my neighbor’s “I need it now and for free” attitude. But then it occurred to me that there were plenty of little places in the home improvement leads that were in need of the work; like my pal Eddie who owns a contracting business and, just happens to build the best decks in the world.
Then it occurred to me that there was a potential business is matching up the home improvement leads with the home improvers. I searched around online and found a list of home improvement leads in my area.
I called Eddie and told him my plan. I’ll email the people on the list of home improvement leads, and direct them to Eddie’s business. It worked like a charm. Now Eddie is busier than ever and I’m reaping the benefits of my wonderful list of home improvement leads.
