1.Hot Dogs: cuz they have lots of ‘nitrates’. If you have to buy dogs, look for the ones with no “Sodium Nitrate”. Also look for the ones with little to no trans fats — like Hebrew National’s 97% fat free dogs.

2.Processed Meats and Bacon: same thing – high in nitrates! Nitrates also contribute to heart disease, and saturated fats contribute to heart disease and to ! Lots of saturated fats in stuff like bacon!

3.Doughnuts: they’re made with sugar, hydrogenated oils, and white flour. Then they’re fried at hi-temp. Probably the single worst food you can eat to raise your risk.

4.French Fries: contain “dangerous acrylamides”, and are made with hydrogenated oils and fried at hi-temp. The Doc in the article says they should be called “ Fries”.

5.Chips, crackers, and cookies: all made with sugar and white flour, and even the ones that claim to be free of trans fats still have small amounts of them. Yuk.
